Lindsey Vonn was born in 1984 and is now retired. In 2010 she was the winner of 4 World Cup events, including the downhill medal. Vonn is ranked second in the world of skiers, male and female in terms of the highest scores. She is among the top and most loved skiers in history. Lindsey American World Cup alpine ski racer Caroline Vonn also known as Lindsey Vonn competes for the US Ski Team. She holds four overall World Cup victories. It is a professional athlete who has made a name for herself in American culture. She is only one of six women who have been crowned in each event on the World Cup circuit. In total, she's won more than 80 World Cup titles. An elite skier and one of America's most successful ski racers have taken a decision to step down following the World Championships which will be held in Sweden. The onset of a series of health issues led her to become a four-time World Cup Overall Champion to decide that she would retire. Social media was the method used to make her announcement of retirement. Next week I'll compete in my final races of my career in the Downhill as well as the SG World Championships in Re Sweden.
