Angela Sun

Angela Sun is a journalist sportscaster, documentary filmmaker and television host. Angela Sun was born on October 19, 1979, in Santa Clara County California. She has won awards for her work as a journalist, sportscaster and actress. She earned a bachelor's degree in Sociology and Communications at the University of California. Sun has excellent surfing abilities. She was a participant in numerous pro-am Surf competitions which led to sponsorship deals with brands like Roxy Reef Billabong Vans. She was launched into entertainment because of the recognition she received. Sun later went on to become an investigative sportscaster and film director. She was the first Asian American to be featured as a host on ESPN Fox Sports Yahoo Sports, Tennis Channel and Yahoo Sports. Sun has appeared in a variety of movies, and her skills as an actress have been acknowledged and appreciated. Her roles include Goliath (2016, Hit the Floor 2014-2016), A Perfect Getaway 2009) Shackled, Street Kings 2008 and Glowsticks and Drumsticks 2004. Sun has produced and directed Platic Paradise, The Great Pacific Garbage Patch in 2014.
