Lis Wehl was born on 19th August 1961 in America she is an author as well as a former legal expert for Fox News.
She currently serves as an adjunct law professor in New York Law School. Prior to that she was an associate professor at University of Washington Law School. She has provided legal commentary for National Public Radio and Bill O'Reilly's Radio Factor. She has been a frequent guest on The O'Reilly Factor as well Lou Dobbs Today, The Kelly File With Megyn Kelly and Neil Cavuto and The Kelly File.
Wiehl is a Yakima resident who graduated from West Valley High School. She graduated with a bachelor's diploma at Barnard College in 1983, a Master of Arts in Literature from the University of Queensland in 1985 as well as the Juris Doctor from Harvard Law School in 1987.
Wiehl worked as a prosecutor at the US Attorney's Office. She was the legal correspondent for NPR All Things Considered. She was principal investigating counsel to the Democrats from the House Judiciary Committee, during Clinton's impeachment. She was a law professor with tenure at the University of Washington School of Law Seattle from 1995 until 2001. From 2001 until 2017 Wiehl was a legal analyst for Fox News.
