Constance Marie

Constance Constance Marie Lopez (born September 9, 1965)[1] is an American actress from the United States. Her credits include Angie Lopez in George Lopez (2002-2007) and Marcela Quintanilla, mother of Selena, in Selena (1997). She played Regina Vasquez on the ABC Family/Freeform drama series Switched at Birth (2011-17). She is currently playing Camila Diaz on the Amazon Prime Video drama series Undone (2019). Marie started acting when she was when she was in her teens. She was able to get a role in the 1988 film Salsa. Other credits on film and TV include Early Edition and Dirty Dancing, Selena and Spin City and Ally McBeal. Marie was chosen to play the role of Angie Lopez in ABC's comedy series George Lopez. Marie played a prominent role in 2001's comedy-drama Tortilla Soup, alongside Jacqueline Obradors and Hector Elizondo. Also, she appeared on the PBS drama series American Family. Her own line of clothing, "The Constance Marie collection", was launched in the month of October. She also appeared in an ad campaign for PETA in the same year, urging pet owners to spay/neuter their animals. [3] Marie was the lead character in Switched at Birth on ABC Family/Freeform for the period from 2011 to 2017. She was Regina Vasquez (the birth mother of one child and the legal mother of the other).
